Franchise headquarters have united to help their franchisees who are hit hard by sales due to the spreading coronavirus (COVID 19).

Franchise headquarters support franchisees in a variety of ways, such as △ Affiliate fees (Royalties) reduction and exemption △ Food materials support △ Advertisement and promotion support △ Temporarily closing stores support △ Loan support, etc. Along with "Good Franchise" movement, 31 franchisees decided to temporarily exempt or cut the royalties paid by franchisees for brand use in the headquarters. Hanok Village Jeonju Bibimbap, a restaurant specializing in Jeonju Bibimbap, decided to exempt 50% of the monthly royalties (around 2% of sales) from franchisees for 2 months as the sales have been decreased by more than half since February. Also, to promote sales, SNS and marketing costs will be paid at around 8 million won, and it will be provided free of charge by December 2020.

Kim Hyun Ki, CEO of Hanok Village Jeonju Bibimbap, emphasized, "As the saying goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone. if you want to go far, go together". And he said, "The priority is the support our franchisees, so we will continue to do everything we can for them."
