Pungnyeon FC Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 26th in collaboration with the Industry-Academia Cooperation Division of Shinhan University, focusing on the 'Advancement of Food Health-Related Technologies and the Dissemination of Local Cultural Values.' The signing ceremony took place at Seminar Room 4 on the 3rd floor of Shinhan University's Trust Building, attended by two representatives from Pungnyeon FC, including CEO Kim Hyun-gi and Director Kim Beom-soo, as well as approximately 10 professionals from Shinhan University's Industry-Academia Cooperation Division, including Director Kim Jong-kyu and Vice Director Kim Ho-sung.

Through this agreement, both organizations aim to establish a strategic alliance, promote the globalization of K-FOOD, and build a collaborative network for technological advancement in the field of food health. Particularly, the partnership plans to contribute to regional economic activation through the development of food health technologies and the dissemination of local cultural values. The strengthened collaboration will facilitate information and personnel exchange between the two entities.

CEO Kim Hyun-gi of Pungnyeon FC expressed his delight, stating, "Through this agreement, we are pleased to establish a foundation for the globalization of Korean cuisine and the enhancement of local cultural values. We look forward to contributing to regional economic activation through long-term collaboration." Director Kim Jong-kyu expressed the intention to explore close cooperation with Pungnyeon FC in the development of food health technologies, stating, "Through this business agreement, we aim to closely collaborate with Pungnyeon FC in the field of food health technology development and work together to chart a direction for mutual growth."

Meanwhile, Pungnyeon FC was recognized in 2023 as one of the 'Top 100 Representative Brands' in the 'Korean Cuisine Franchise' category, organized by the Korea Ilbo, highlighting its excellence in the K-FOOD sector.
